Responsibilities of a Physical Therapist (PT):
Physical Therapist (PT) performs job duties in various settings including SNF, Outpatient, and Home Health Care.
Physical Therapist (PT) optimizes physical ability skills among patients in facilities by performing or directing therapy staff:
Screen, evaluate, and treat residents who could benefit from intervention
Document progress toward identified objectives
Communicate patient status
Physical Therapist (PT) provides supervisory support
provides formal/informal feedback to PTA/Rehab Tech on continuing basis
Physical Therapist (PT) continues professional development
maintain state licensure
attend CEUs
Qualifications for a Licensed Physical Therapist (PT)
Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Ohio
