Position Overview:
Velie Global Law Firm is seeking a dedicated Commercial Attorney with 8 to 10 years experience to join our Plano, Texas office. The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate, healthcare, commercial collections, litigation, mergers, and contract drafting and negotiation. This role requires a proactive individual who excels in strategy sessions, deal negotiations, and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct strategy sessions with potential and existing clients regarding real estate, healthcare, and commercial collection matters, as well as litigation, mergers, and contract drafting and negotiating.
- Negotiate and close deals with potential clients.
- Learn about our company and methods to accurately convey our brand promises and lead clients to retain our services.
- Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients.
- Handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed by any state bar in the US.
- 2+ years of experience in Business Immigration Law.
- No bar complaints.
- Strong legal drafting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
