Power Wellness is a medical fitness industry pioneer who improves the lives of clients with a unique and customized approach to medical fitness center development and management. Their turnkey method takes away the stress of the development and management process allowing clients to focus on other areas of their business.

The Registered Dietitian provides professional nutritional counseling and education as it relates to positive, healthy behaviors and the provision of reliable, goal-directed nutrition information to the members and community served.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide nutritional counseling to clients addressing individual nutritional goals.

2. Plan and present nutrition related programs and seminars for the members and community.

3. Develop and maintain nutritional curriculum and obtain educational materials.

5. Maintain licensure or registration in good standing and meet continuing education requirements.

6. Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively teach and interact with clients.

7. Contribute to the marketing efforts of the center and nutritional services both within the center and the community.

8. Be proficient in all core business software as it relates to job duties and responsibilities.

9. Work towards meeting departmental and organizational goals.

10. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college and course work accredited or approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics required.

• Completion of clinical training that meets the guidelines set by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics required.

• Prior work experience or an internship in the fitness industry preferred.

• Minimum of 2 of years of clinical experience preferred.

• CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire (provided by Power Wellness)

• Current Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification from the Commission of Dietetic Registry (CDR) required. Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) may be required per state and/or federal requirements.

• Certification in weight management preferred.

• Must possess excellent inter-personal and communication skills, and the ability to work with members in a positive, service based manner.

• Ability to multi-task and maintain a controlled and professional demeanor.

• Ability to be flexible and accommodating as it relates to center hours, work schedules

• and scheduling appointments for prospects and members.

• Proficient computer skills.
