Achieving Milestones Pediatric Therapy has been the recognized leader in offering premier pediatric therapy services in the area. Our team of experienced pediatric therapists is made up of Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Speech Therapists all working hand-in-hand to provide the highest level of comprehensive care available anywhere.
We believe in an interdisciplinary approach. Our therapists are highly trained and specialized in areas such as Sensory Integration, Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT), Oral Motor and Feeding, Speech and Language, and Motor Skill Acquisition.
We are looking for a part time team member to meet demands of our growing practice. Our expectation is that this position will convert to full time by February 2025 (at the latest).
In this position you will carry out individualized therapy programs for patients with communication, cognitive and/or swallowing impairments. You will assess, treat, plan, implement, educate, and communicate to maximize a patient's progress toward achieving functional goals and discharge plans. You will supervise therapy aides and students.
You will perform comprehensive patient assessments and establish appropriate treatment goals and programs for patients
You will coordinate the treatment program with other clinical/therapeutic services.
You will develop comprehensive goals for treatment to maximize patient outcomes.
You will deliver care and modify the care plan in accordance with the patient's needs.
You will serve as an educator to patients, families, students and colleagues.
You will maintain records of services provided.
Education
Master's Degree in Speech Therapy
Licenses and Certifications
Licensed by the State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
ASHA certification-American Speech Language and Hearing Association
Other Considerations:
Our practice is growing and we're looking to add team members that love working with children and collaborating with colleagues. You will have the opportunity to work with other SLP's as well as co treat with Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapists.
We are open to candidates that desire full time or part time employment. Please note that advertised compensation, benefits (PTO, Holiday Pay, Insurance, Retirement) are for full time team members only.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
