This is a lab-based role focused on target discovery and validation, building in vitro and in vivo models to evaluate keloid and fibrosis targets.ResponsibilitiesConduct in vitro experiments and run molecular biology, immunological, and cell-based assays (western blot, qRT-PCR, immunohistochemistry, ELISAs, etc.).Manage in vivo mouse models, perform injections (intraperitoneal, subcutaneous, intravenous), surgeries, and tissue dissections.Manage intake for human tissue samples and isolate primary cells from these samples for in vitro assays and single-cell analysis.QualificationsRequired: Bachelor's or Master's degree in biology or related field and at least 3 years of relevant research experience.Preferred: Experience in skin research and/or fibrosis/fibroblast biology; prior work with mouse models; expertise in primary cell culture/in vitro models; understanding of single-cell transcriptomics; excellent analytical and communication skills; demonstrated experience with molecular biology techniques; ability to work effectively with others; industry experience is advantageous but not required.SkillsMolecular biology techniquesCell-based assaysIn vivo mouse model handlingPrimary cell cultureSingle-cell transcriptomics understandingAnalytical and communication skillsEducationBachelor's or Master's degree in biology or related field #J-18808-Ljbffr
