You won't be overseeing crowded classrooms or executing standardized lesson plans. Instead, you'll guide focused cohorts of driven students eager to accelerate their learning, explore subject matter deeply, and take ownership of their academic journey. If your success has come through non-traditional channels—competitive achievement, sports, business ventures, or artistic excellence—and you understand how to convert motivation into measurable outcomes, this position leverages your experience for their benefit. What You Will Be Doing Engaging and inspiring students through consistent one-on-one and small-group interactions—no traditional lectures, only high-impact mentorship Leveraging AI-driven learning platforms and adaptive technology to enable individualized learning progression Facilitating targeted workshops on leadership development, practical life competencies, and strategies for real-world achievement Supporting students in identifying their unique capabilities and broadening their goals through customized development plans Advancing Alpha's educational framework through actionable feedback, performance data, and innovative thinking Basic Requirements Bachelor's degree in any field Documented history of exceptional achievement (e.g. top academic honors, D1/Olympic athletics, national competitions, etc.) 3 year's experience working directly with K–8 students in a mentoring, coaching, or instructional capacity Strong communication and public speaking skills Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Willingness to work in-person at Miami, FL; New York City, NY; Santa Barbara, CA or San Francisco, CA About Alpha Alpha School is on a mission to reshape education with a bold approach that harnesses AI to accelerate learning and unleash student potential. Working With Us This is a full-time (40 hours per week) long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
