As a member of the Entec Controls Team, you will provide low-voltage electrical support for Energy, Retro-commissioning and Building Automation projects. You will work primarily with members from the Electrical, Controls Technician, Project Management, and Engineering teams.

This role consists of mostly site-based work. Typical work hours are Monday-Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, but may vary to meet client and project schedules.

Job duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Installation of building automation systems. These systems may include temperature control, energy management, access, and/or lighting.
  • Mounting panels, running conduit, pulling wire, terminating to devices, and assisting with system startups.
Requirements

Required:
  • Basic HVAC and mechanical knowledge, with willingness to learn more
  • Membership in a Local IBEW union (or willingness to join)
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative environment, as well as to perform work independently
Preferred:
  • At least 2 years of low-voltage field experience
  • Experience programming panel controls for HVAC equipment
