We’re partnering with a leading construction services firm headquartered in Orange County, CA, to find a VP of Accounting to join their expanding team. You’ll lead accounting operations, manage a talented team, and help shape a best-in-class finance organization in a company recognized for its integrity, compassion, and customer focus. What You’ll Do Oversee corporate accounting operations and manage a team of accountants Drive process improvements across month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles Manage M&A accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and general ledger activities Partner with auditors and ensure the timely delivery of financial statements and tax filings Implement automation and internal controls to ensure 98% accuracy in financial reporting Support key strategic initiatives and acquisition integrations Provide insights and leadership in a collaborative, fast-paced environment What You’ll Bring 8+ years of accounting experience within private equity-backed organizations Public accounting experience is a huge plus Bachelor’s in Accounting Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and corporate finance operations Experience with multi-location or multi-entity environments Familiarity with MS Dynamics 365, Salesforce Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills High energy, ownership mindset, and a passion for building strong teams Why You’ll Love This Role Join a well-capitalized, rapidly growing company with national reach Partner directly with senior leadership and private equity investors Be part of a collaborative culture that values integrity, initiative, and results Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a company with strong community roots 📩 Ready to lead, build, and grow?
