The VP-IT directs the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems in support of business operations to ensure cost effectiveness, service quality, and service delivery, and is responsible for all aspects of Marvin’s information technology.The VP-IT serves as the major administrator of MGIT and is responsible for the management of the SAP ERP system, Microsoft 365 Government Cloud Computing, IT project management, file server and networking infrastructure, application software development, information security, and NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2 compliance.The VP-IT oversees the review and analysis, coordination, and approval of computer-related purchases and upgrades and ensures that new applications and technologies are compatible with existing systems and integrated into the enterprise architecture. The VP-IT provides leadership and supervision of staff, budget oversight and development, and strategic planning and implementation for the Marvin Group.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDirects, evaluates and implements the IT strategic and operational goals, objectives, policies and priorities for the Information Technology department; develops and implements the IT strategic plan.Directs information security efforts to protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems and strengthen the preparedness, timely response, and rapid recovery in a cyber-attack.Collaborates with other departments to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, and coordinating evaluation, implementation, and management of IT systems.Develops, tracks, and controls the IT annual operating and capital budgets, including business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses.Ensures IT systems and processes are compliant with ITAR, NIST SP 800-171, CMMC Level 2, and other relevant government and DoD regulations.Directs development and execution of an enterprise-wide IT disaster recovery and business continuity plan.SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in a relevant IT field or equivalent experienceMinimum 15 years’ experience with enterprise applications (ERP/Analytics), infrastructure, shared services and data center management, including data and voice communications, SQL Server, ITSM, server/desktop OS, security, and related technologiesMinimum 7–10 years’ experience supervising IT professionalsExcellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilitiesKnowledge of current and emerging technologiesStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to lift up to 35 lbs.English proficiencyWORK ENVIRONMENTMedium-to-large office environmentFast-paced environmentModerate noise levelExposed to a combination of normal office environmentsTRAVELThere are typically no travel requirements for this position (0%).This position must meet export control compliance requirements.
