The Senior Director of Leadership Volunteer Engagement is responsible for developing and executing a strategic framework to engage high‑level leadership volunteers, overseeing trustee‑related programs and initiatives that support institutional advancement and philanthropic growth. The role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in board relations, volunteer management, and cross‑functional project leadership. This position collaborates closely with the Office of the President, Board of Trustees, and other senior university officials to align volunteer engagement with the university’s mission and priorities. Essential Functions Supervise the director of trustee programs and provide strategic support and direction for all trustee program activities. Build strong relationships with key administrative and academic leadership across campus. (35%) Collaborate with partners across the university to establish and maintain a varied pool of alumni, parents and friends suitable for various volunteer positions from entry‑level to senior‑level roles. Maintain central records regarding individual school pipelines, outstanding alumni, key donors, and volunteers. Work with the Alumni Association and other development teams to refresh pipelines and ensure consideration of a diverse group of alumni, donors, and prospective donors and thought leaders. (30%) Develop, implement and measure the success of the university’s leadership volunteer engagement strategy to increase philanthropy. Identify and track metrics to provide an overview of volunteer engagement and guide strategy. Work across schools and central departments to ensure effective data tracking for the annual CASE alumni engagement survey. (25%) Work with the Senior Vice President of University Relations and Development to staff the University Relations and Development Committee of the Board of Trustees. Create meeting agendas and materials, and plan and execute the Trustee Annual Campaign. (10%) Nonessential Functions Perform other duties as assigned. (
