ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Clearing tables of used dishes, utensils, and waste. Efficiently and promptly reset tables by wiping them down and arranging seating.
  2. Collaborating with the waitstaff by promptly refilling water glasses, offering coffee if available, replacing used utensils, clearing plates between courses, and providing condiments and assistance as required.
  3. Responsively and courteously attending to guest requests, ensuring their needs are met to enhance their overall dining experience.
  4. Maintaining a well-stocked supply of utensils, napkins, condiments, and other essential items.
  5. Establishing effective communication and coordination between the front-of-house and back-of-house operations by working closely with the kitchen and waitstaff.
  6. Monitor and upkeep the cleanliness of restrooms, conducting regular checks, cleaning as necessary, and consistently restocking supplies.
  7. Assisting with general cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
  8. Adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a secure working environment for both staff and guests.
  9. Offering support to other team members during busy periods or special events to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.
  10. Reports to work as scheduled, on time, and ready to work. Wears and maintains all uniforms properly, including nametag. Must wear a gaming license if in possession of one.
  11. Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Previous experience as a bus person or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in organization and effective task prioritization. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as dictated by business needs.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school or equivalent is preferred. No previous experience is required, however, prior knowledge or experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or gaming environment is desirable.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.

REASONING ABILITY: No decision making is required beyond scope of essential duties.

OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES: Capability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and guests. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Knowledge of safety and sanitation practices in a restaurant setting.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential duties involve performing physical exertion such as frequent brisk walking, climbing stairs, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, crouching, stooping, and standing for an entire work shift with standard breaks. Essential duties require lifting trays, plates, pots, pans, and other cooking utensils and lifting up to 30 pounds to stack, store, or move kitchen, restaurant, or general office supplies and equipment. Essential duties involve a flexible workweek with additional hours routinely required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Essential duties involve working in a small, confined work area and restaurant environment with floors that may become slippery in the process of preparing food and beverages. Primarily in an inside environment with large numbers of people, which contains frequently loud or high noise levels, odors, and a commonly hot or cold work environment due to running ovens and refrigeration units.

MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED: Equipment typical of a retail/commercial kitchen and restaurant, including but not limited to: refrigerators, knives, spoons, forks, glasses, plates, pots, pans, pitchers, and various cleaning supplies and materials.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

$17.00+ hour based on experience plus gratuities
