Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Trainer for our Richardson, TX location. The SAP TM Trainer will be responsible for developing, documenting, and delivering comprehensive training programs to ensure our workforce is proficient in SAP TM processes. This role is critical in bridging the gap between technical SAP knowledge and practical application for everyday business users.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Development and Delivery:

Develop and implement targeted SAP TM training programs for the manufacturing workforce, focusing on both foundational and advanced TM processes.
Deliver training sessions in a clear and accessible manner, ensuring that non-technical business users can effectively understand and apply the information.
Create and maintain training materials, including process documentation, user guides, and instructional content tailored to the needs of Load Planners, Transportation Planners, and Analysts.


Process Documentation:

Document SAP TM processes thoroughly, ensuring that training materials are up-to-date and reflective of current operational practices.
Audit and revise critical skill work instructions to address any gaps or changes in processes.


Skill Gap Analysis and Targeted Training:

Review quality and operational metrics to identify critical skill gaps within the workforce.
Develop and deliver targeted training sessions aimed at closing these gaps and improving overall operational efficiency.


Training Tracking and Compliance:

Track the progress of training sessions, certifications, and skill development, ensuring compliance with internal standards.
Provide ongoing support and leadership to other trainers within the organization as needed.


Travel Requirements:

Primarily based in Richardson, TX, with occasional travel to Irving and, less frequently, to Atlanta for training and implementation support.



Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation, with a strong focus on SAP TM.
At least 5 years of relevant training experience, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
Experience as a Load Planner, Transportation Planner, or Analyst is highly desirable.
Previous experience documenting SAP TM processes and delivering user-friendly training sessions is essential.


Technical Skills:

Expertise in SAP TM is critical, either as a super user or trainer.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Products is required.


Communication and Facilitation:

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical users.
Ability to develop and implement effective training and facilitation sessions.


Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
ITIL certification or similar qualifications in training and development are preferred.


Other Skills:

Critical thinking skills to identify and address gaps in knowledge and operational skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality training under general direction.
