Job Title: Registered Nurse

Certifications: ACLS, BCLS
Must-Have:
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Experience with multi-system organ failure
- Skilled in IV insulin protocols and accessing ports
- Proficient in blood product administration
- Central line and PICC line management
- Starting IVs and continuous IV sedation
- Titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips
- Assist with management of BiPAP, CPAP, and High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
- Interpretation of ABGs and ventilator management
- Knowledge of infection prevention and isolation precautions, including PPE use
- Expertise in phlebotomy and care of surgical wounds with drains/wound vac
Job Description:
- Provide patient care for those with sepsis, CHF, COPD, DKA, COVID, ETOH withdrawal, and pneumonia
- Titrate diltiazem, insulin, amiodarone, and precedex drips
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with healthcare regulations
- Complete documentation accurately using Cerner, if experienced
- Float and assist with medical-surgical and telemetry patients as needed
- Maintain effective communication using SBAR
- Adhere to facility's dress code, wearing navy blue scrubs
Additional Information:
- The facility is smoke-free
- COVID-19 vaccine required; no exemptions
- Cerner experience preferred but not mandatory, no Cerner training provided
