Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Semiconductor Equipment Technician to join our team. This role requires full-time presence at assigned office(s)/worksite(s) and involves the installation, repair, calibration, and maintenance of semiconductor process equipment. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, calibrate, and maintain semiconductor process equipment.
  • Escalate advanced repairs to senior level technicians as needed.
  • Monitor, inspect, and maintain semiconductor equipment to prevent and minimize malfunctions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activity and provide periodic reports.
  • Monitor stock level of service parts and equipment to ensure adequate inventory is available for repair work.

Requirements:
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 0 - 2 years of related (electromechanical) work experience, preferably in a field service engineer or technician position within a semiconductor equipment company or a technical position in the engineering field.
  • Litho experience preferred; experience with high precision equipment is helpful.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel upwards of 50% via car, air, and overnight stays (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).
  • Flexibility to work flexible shifts and compressed workweeks.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds individually; assistance available for lifting over 30 pounds.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to comply with customer policies and protocols, including COVID-19 vaccination and related measures.
  • Must be able to work in a cleanroom environment, wearing full cleanroom suit, facemask, gloves, and safety glasses.
  • Close visual acuity with or without corrective lenses for extensive reading, visual inspection, using measurement devices, and assembly/fabrication of parts at close distances.
  • Ability to work in various physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, exposure to chemicals, ultraviolet light, lasers, enclosed spaces, and close quarters.
