We're looking for a highly motivated Final Assembly Technician with strong attention to detail and technical skills to join our Las Vegas-based team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies and assemble, test, and troubleshoot those assemblies
  • Assemble parts or units, and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, subassemblies or frames, using hand tools and power tools
  • Read assembly drawings and specifications to determine component parts and assemble sequences of electromechanical units
  • Able to effectively: stuff PCBAs with through-hole components; trim leads; tape mask PCBAs; unmask PCBAs and manually clean them; program PCBAs and perform functional tests; de-panelize PCBAs; and mechanical assembly
  • Perform basic to complex electro-mechanical assembly and disassembly work while maintaining a high level of detail and rigor
  • Perform inspections to standards utilizing a detailed understanding of IPC-A-610 and company quality standards for SMT, Through-Hole, and final assembly
  • Report and document defective materials or nonconformance issues to the department team-lead or manager
  • Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions
  • Make recommendations for process and company improvements
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
  • Self-starter, demonstrates initiative and commitment, able to work in teams and as an individual contributor
  • Strong analytical and project management skills; comfortable interacting with multiple internal teams as well as NAS customers
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9000/AS9100 principles and practices is a bonus
