Responsibilities

  • Direct the development and implementation of activities in production areas to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives
  • Prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply
  • Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas; working to improve in all areas continuously
  • Make budgetary recommendations and, at higher levels, control capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor by developing schedules and assessing manpower requirements
  • Manage departmental performance measures for improvement and communicate effectively with customers and staff regarding the production schedule
  • Work well under pressure and have exceptional time management skills
  • Must have a positive attitude, integrity, and strong work ethic
  • Must be able to motivate a team of 30 people
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in electronics manufacturing (electronics manufacturing experience required) with at least 2 years of supervisor duties
  • 5+ years' experience with circuit board fabrication and assembly processes
  • Strong background in Lean Six Sigma methodology and 5S and experience with RoHS and WEEE compliance requirements
  • Self-starter, demonstrates initiative and commitment, able to work in a team environment and positively influence others
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Ability to foresee and plan over 30 days and prepare action plans to achieve results
