**Assembler**

**JOB DUTIES:**

-Assemble plane de-icers, aircraft tow vehicles and cargo loading systems, airport gate equipment, and military equipment.

-Assemblers will be required to troubleshoots, repairs, and assembles mechanical and electrical equipment.

-Utilize hand and power tools (these are provided by the customer) such as wrenches, screw drivers, drills, files, grinders, etc. to make mechanical connections using nuts, bolts, washers and screws.

-Make electrical connections using pre-fabricated harnesses, cutters, wire strippers and crimping tools.

-Required to read/interpret blueprints/schematics.

-Responsible for self-auditing and inspecting assembled work using drawings and checklists.

**ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:**

-2+ years of mechanical assembly experience.

-Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

-Ability to utilize hand and power tools (provided by customer).

-Hydraulic experience is a PLUS.

-Electrical experience is required, not IPC/small soldering.

**SHIFT:**

Monday-Thursday

Normal hours 5am to 3:30pm

+ Split shift 10am to 8:30pm

Must be open to 1 shift and split schedule as needed.

**TRAINING:**

1st day- safety and orientation with HR and EHS.

2nd day- safety with Lead in the department (specific per line).

- From there they go to a work center (normally 2-3 people) and work with them.

- Most people are able to pick up the work in a couple weeks.
