Field Service Technician must have 6 months to 1 year of basic electronics experience or will have gained on-the-job experience and training from working in technical/electronics roles.


Field Service Technician will perform site surveys and document all pertinent details required to submit documentation to the customer for processing.


The Field Service Technician will be required to check in and check out as well as prepare reports and other documents to include photos of the work before and after.


Normal work hours are from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, although some weekends may be necessary and some on-call to deal with out-of-hours problems.


This work will be Break Fix, AD-HOC, and part-time.

The initial job duties the Employee will be expected to perform will be the following:

•possess strong problem-solving skills

•have good customer service skills to deal sensitively with customers who have malfunctioning equipment

•have good organizational skills

•be able to work quickly under pressure without supervision.

•be able to understand technical diagrams and manuals

•have a good knowledge of math, science, and technology

•be aware of electrical, mechanical, and chemical health and safety issues

•have good IT skills

•be physically fit and understand appropriate lifting techniques

•have normal color vision

•possess a clean driving license


Visits to client premises of companies and organizations that have contracts, warranties, or ongoing service agreements with the equipment manufacturer or support company.
