About the Role

The Director of Information Technology will be a member of the senior leadership team and report to the Executive Director. This is a new position for Atlanta Legal Aid Society which will oversee all aspects of our information technology needs, including managing, implementing, recommending enhancements and innovative technology to support our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • In collaboration with the Executive Director, develop and implement strategy for Atlanta Legal Aid Society's information technology needs.
  • Work with the IT manager to develop and implement department goals.
  • Work with the Executive Director, Director of Finance, and senior IT staff to develop and monitor the IT department budget.
  • Ensure that IT department strategies and processes provide appropriate support to Atlanta Legal Aid Society's goals.
  • Oversee contract negotiations with IT vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Create and implement IT policies, protocols, and standards.
  • Lead Atlanta Legal Aid Society's IT team; recruit, supervise, and develop IT staff, contractors, and vendors.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT activities, including contracts.
  • Serve as a key member of strategic planning staff leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Prior experience working in a large non-profit organization a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or another relevant field preferred; graduate degree in IT management, project management or computer information systems a plus.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of $105,000.
