Responsibilities:

  • Fully adjudicate claims and fill prescriptions efficiently, ensuring accurate information.
  • Accept written prescriptions or refill requests from patients, evaluating information for completeness and accuracy.
  • Record medical histories while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, responding to inquiries, questions, or requests.
  • Select and count appropriate medication, create pharmacy labels, and place completed prescriptions in the area for pharmacist verification.
  • Participate in inventory audits and purchasing of medications and pharmacy supplies.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
  • Must have weekend availability.
  • Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB / CPhT) preferred.
  • In good standing with the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
  • Two or more years of Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
  • A passion for outstanding customer service, professionalism, and teamwork.
  • Strong communication skills.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $40,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
