Position Overview 

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of equipment and facilities. Supervision of self-run and third-party operations and work performed on Ice Cube property.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform repair of Ice Cube’s mechanical system as well as carry out regular inspection of building facilities to ensure they are operational and efficient.
  • Operating standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools, electric tools, preventative maintenance technology tools, etc.
  • Completing preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exposure to wet or cool environment, at varied heights.
  • Administer preventative maintenance programs which reduce the risk of equipment failure and maximize productivity.
  • Identify new and advanced equipment that will serve as better alternatives for the replacement or upgrade of worn-out machines.
  • Oversee the management of maintenance expenses, and equipment depreciation.
  • Manage the process of disposal of worn-out/damaged machinery as well as the installation of new equipment.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance logs and provide reports on daily operations.


Qualifications 

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Facility management, or related field, with a combination of work experience and education which proves proficiency in the field.
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to conduct equipment inspections to identify and facilitate/conduct repair of machinery.
  • Ability to identify machine faults or building hazards and initiate repairs and adjustment as needed.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish fact, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to make quick, educated decisions regarding product quality.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., routinely.
  • Ability to make decisions and work out problems in a short time frame.
  • High attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-environment, willingness to be flexible and able to handle multiple situations simultaneously.
