Position DetailsSalary: 16.00 - 17.00 Hourly 'Be a Difference MAKER®'in a new career with Mennonite Home Communities Ranked#2 in PA for "America's Best Nursing Homes 2024" according to Newsweek CURRENT OPENINGS:Positionsavailable at both Mennonite Home & Woodcrest Villa Campus*Full-time: 80 hours biweekly: 7:00AM-3:30PM or 3:00PM-11:30PM-Part-time also available: 40 hours biweekly: 11:00AM-3:00PM, Monday-Friday-Positions include every fourth weekend and third holiday rotationThe Housekeeping Aide performs various housekeeping duties to ensure Mennonite Home/Woodcrest Villamaintains a high level of cleanliness and pleasant atmosphere. This position is performed inaccordance with Mennonite Home Communities Core Values, Mission Statement, andregulations. QUALIFICATIONS:Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred but not requiredFor Woodcrest Villa campus employees only, a valid PA driver's license with a minimum of two (2) years of driving experiencerequiredPrevious Housekeeping experience in a healthcare or hospitality setting preferred but not requiredRESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Thoroughlycleans resident's rooms/apartments/villas as assigned and/or prior to a new admission/move-inThoroughlycleans and refills supplies in all public areas and public restroomsCleans insides/outsides of windows/doorsUsesstep stool/ladder to change out all types of curtains and to clean light fixturesas neededUses small carpet spotter on carpet spots/upholstery as neededFollowsregular cleaning rotation checklists andschedules. Completes required paperworkWorkswith minimal supervision. Demonstrates good time management skills to ensureall assignments get completed before end of shiftResponds to all emailsand calls over radioOperates MHC company vehicle as needed (WCV Campus)Mennonite Home Communities was foundedin 1903, the Christ-based mission is to enrich the lives of residents, staff,and the community.
