Job Summary:

This position is responsible for cleaning of resident rooms, restrooms, and common areas while performing general housekeeping task according to detailed instructions with the goal to maintain the facility in a clean, sanitized and attractive condition.

Essential Job Functions:

* Prepare & fill cart with supplies for the shift and transport cart to assigned areas

* Gather trash, clean waste basket and reline

* Clean and disinfect toilets, basins and fixtures

* Clean and sanitize resident rooms, as assigned, and do a general pick-up

* Restock areas as needed and as appropriate

* Clean and shine inside windows

* Vacuum window treatments and Privacy drapes

* Dust surfaces exposed and non-exposed, moving items as needed

* Dry sweep or mop floors

* Wet mop according to policy and procedures

* Report maintenance repairs when found

* Follow all safety policies and practices of the department

Other Functions

* Laundry duties as assigned to collect, separate, wash, dry, fold and re-deliver

In addition to the functions listed above, the employee is expected to exercise confidentiality with respect to information and demonstrate honesty and integrity.
