We are looking for motivated individuals with a passion for engineering to join our teamResponsibilitiesLocation: Kinston, NCKey Accountabilities:Coordinates with engineering, manufacturing, and supply teams to develop and guide the program manufacturing and tooling planEnsures the identification and implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies and improves manufacturing processes in support of the type designUses process engineering principles and techniques. Develops, establishes, and guides requirements for assembly, tooling simulations, and manufacturing configurationsPerforms trade and cost studies and assists in leading integrated product and process teamsAbility to apply knowledge in one or more of the following areas; Composite non-metallic, Electrical/Electronics, Machining, Sheet metal, Systems and Structures.QualificationsRequirements:Requires educational credentials meeting the Spirit classification standards for engineers and typically 0 to 1 year of experience in an engineering classification/position onBachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited Engineering programPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of fabrication, assembly, and integration of structures and tooling conceptsAbility to determine the preferred process, assist in developing the design concept and direct the manufacture of structural assembliesExperience with the following:Past engineering InternshipsAerospace experienceManufacturing EngineeringSix SigmaLean manufacturingProject ManagementAutomation TechnologyHands-on working knowledge of CATIA and SAPShop floor / Machine shop / Fabrication supportAuditingEstimatingToolingTool PlanningSAIEnoviaDelmiaWe are in this togetherSogeclair Digital Engineering is an equal opportunity employer and does not unlawfully discriminate against employees or applicants for employment on the basis of an individual's race, color, religion, creed, sex, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, marital status, veteran status or any other status protected by applicable law.
