The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with regional and national accounts, including wholesalers, retail pharmacy chains, group purchasing organizations (GPOs), telehealth organizations and other key stakeholders in the generics pharmaceutical market. The Senior Manager will work with the Senior Director of Sales to develop and execute strategic account plans to drive sales growth, market share, and profitability.The Senior Manager, Sales and National Accounts will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with Padagis customers that translate into increased revenue and profitability growth.Job duties:Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets for assigned accountsCultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within national and regional accounts, including pharmacy chains, wholesalers, distributors, group purchasing organizations (GPOs), and telehealth providersWork closely with the Contracts team to negotiate and complete new contracts and RFPs in a timely fashionManage any assigned accounts, Sales planning/ customer forecasting, contract analysis and bid requisitions, customer terms negotiations and the measurement of customer contract compliance and overall performanceCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, regulatory affairs, and product development, to ensure a cohesive approach to market penetration and product launchesIn-depth knowledge of the generics portfolio, competitive dynamics, customer landscape and a strong understanding of relationships between wholesaler, retailers and direct/indirect sales channelsAnalyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and areas for growthSupport the commercial team with efforts to evaluate and value M&A opportunitiesRepresent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and business development effortsEnsure compliance with all industry regulations and legal requirements related to the sale of generic pharmaceuticalsMonitor account/product sales to ensure inventory is sold through before it becomes short dated.Required qualifications:Bachelor's degreeThree or more (3+) years of experience in Pharmaceutical SalesOne or more (1+) years of experience with a Pharmaceutical Wholesaler or Distributor organization preferredExperience in managing databases, building business facing reports and developing self-serve reporting toolsAdvanced Excel skills including proficiency in pivot tablesCapacity to focus on large data sets and distill key factsExperience with Pharmaceutical Sales Data such as IMSOutstanding analytical, problem solving, and creative thinking abilities; enterprising and resourceful, self-starter and team playerExcellent organizational skills and impeccable attention to detailCommercial acumenSense of urgencyStrategic mindsetPresentation skillsIntegrityPreferred qualifications:generic pharmaceutical industry experienceExperience in one or more of: Excel, Business Objects, PowerBIKey competencies:Since its beginning, Padagis has been undergoing the process of identifying what we believe will lead to the success of our organization in a competitive landscape.
