BI Reporting Analyst
Hybrid in Mountain View, CA (2-days on site per week)

Job Responsibilities:
- Performs business analysis using various techniques, e.g. statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, data mining.
- Determines best practices and develops actionable insights and recommendations for the current business operations.
- Works directly with the internal or external client to identify analytical requirements.
- May help to produce ad hoc data and reports.
- May assist in implementing or developing systems to capture business operation information.
- May occasionally guide less experienced business data analysts
Skills:
- Advanced Proficiency with SQL to perform data acquisition, analysis, segmentation, and aggregation from scratch from existing data sources
- Experience with BI/visualization packages such as Tableau, Qliksense, Qlikview, Excel, Google Sheets
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets (Excel, GSheets) to build business decision models and scenario planning calculators
- Ability to pull and manipulate data including building ETL/data pipelines to support analytics use cases with advanced SQL and data warehousing knowledge
- Strong track record of performing data analysis and modeling using Python (for its rich suite of statistical and modeling libraries like numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, etc.) and SQL
- Quick learner, adaptable, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using statistics and machine learning to solve complex business problems within go-to-market and marketing areas, e.g., propensity for feature adoption, customer health scoring to identify customers at risk to cancel, next best action models etc.
- Familiarity with Linux/OS X command line, version control software (git), and general software development
