PURPOSE Build highly successful projects for our clients, partners, and communities. Position Summary Plans, directs and manages several commercial construction projects at a time. The Civil Project Manager is a take‑charge leader who has a strong customer focus, a sense of urgency, a concern and respect for safety, and the desire to achieve quality in the final product. Accountable for client project delivery from pre‑construction through commissioning focused on achieving high quality, site safety, and aggressive schedules. Facilitates building a collaborative team on each project ability to work with a diverse group of trade contractors to build and lead a cohesive team that can successfully execute a project by meeting, or ultimately exceeding, schedule, budget and quality. Communicates effectively with clients, architects, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers. Builds, meets and drives project schedules by incorporating industry leading techniques such as Lean Construction. Forecasts project cost and profitability. Reviews drawings and submittals. Ensures the correct materials are delivered to the project. Estimates, plans and schedules construction projects. Documents, negotiates and processes change orders. Other duties as assigned. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Able to read and interpret plans and specifications. Able to handle multiple tasks concurrently and work under pressure to meet deadlines. Able to work in a stressful environment. Extremely organized and exhibit a high degree of attention to detail. Supreme relationship builder.
