Summary
Responsible duties include but not limited to, Troubleshoot, Repair, and Maintain production and facility equipment according to safety production and maintenance processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
· Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and always performing duties in a safe manner.
· Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
· Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment.
· Perform maintenance tasks including but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
· Read and interpret equipment manuals and drawings.
· Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust as required.
· Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
· Ability to work flexible hours and work overtime as needed.
· Maintain and track spare parts inventory.
· Communicate with Vendors and Contractors for equipment needs.
Work Environment

· Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate.
· Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths.
· The employee is frequently required to sit, walk, and talk.
· Use Hands to manage, feel, and reach.
· The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location.
· Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision.
· Must have a good sense of balance & good eye-hand-foot coordination.
· The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
· Ability to work overtime and flexible schedule/shifts.
Primary Objective of the Position
· Perform essential duties in a manner that result in UP TIMES of equipment that meet industry/company benchmarks.
Education:
· High school diploma or its equivalent with a completion of a craft apprenticeship, or two years of education and industrial maintenance experience. An AA degree in industrial maintenance or related field is preferred.
Experience:
· 3+ years of industrial experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical skills required. Fabrication and welding experience a plus.
Knowledge and Abilities:
· Must be able to use a variety of hand and power tools, and material handling equipment in performing duties. Must be highly motivated and able to work safely and independently. Required to operate forklifts, man lifts, and hoists safely and competently. Must be able to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
