Float Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant

Provide exceptional in-office experience for patients by providing venipuncture, dispensary responsibilities, and other clinical support services. Remove barriers to care, resulting in a truly exceptional in-office patient experience. Support multiple offices, combining excellent specimen collection technique with tactful interpersonal skills during every interaction with patients. Identify opportunities and deliver on customer-centric solutions while using empathy, focus, and compassion in all interactions with patients and teammates.

  • Provide best in class venipuncture services on a population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
  • Perform and assist with extended scope duties such as non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs
  • Maintain high standards of in-office care through proper specimen labeling, handling and processing, inventory upkeep, and tool sterilization
  • Continue to care for members beyond the lab room by answering patient messages, following up on lab cases and assisting providers and virtual medical team with clerical duties
  • Use impeccable C-I-CARE in all patient interactions and ensure a fluid and positive in-office experience through patient intake, same day schedule management, and strong knowledge of billing and insurance
  • Contribute to team development through rounding, attending team huddles, and participating in team problem solving

At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist, strong written and verbal communication skills, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and proficiency in computer technology are required. Phlebotomy experience and/or certification are preferred.
