Registered Dental Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) specializing in orthodontics to join our vibrant team in Miami. This position is available both part-time and full-time, offering the flexibility to fit your lifestyle. Responsibilities:
Clinical Assistance: Provide direct support to the orthodontist during procedures, ensuring maximum efficiency and patient comfort.
Patient Care: Conduct initial screenings and assist in preparing patients for treatments, clearly explaining procedures and post-treatment instructions in both languages.
Instrument Management: Sterilize and organize dental instruments and materials, ensuring all equipment is ready and available for use.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress updates.
Patient Education: Offer guidance on oral care and maintenance of orthodontic appliances, tailoring communication to individual patient needs.
Coordination and Scheduling: Collaborate with the administrative team to schedule appointments, manage the orthodontists calendar, and ensure an efficient workflow in the clinic.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay updated with the latest advancements in dental care.

Qualifications:
State Registration: Must hold an active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in the state of Florida.
Orthodontic Experience: Proven experience in orthodontics.
Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
Education and Training: Appropriate educational background in dental assisting and completion of a recognized training program.
Positive Attitude: Ability to work well in a team, demonstrate empathy, and maintain a professional and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Continuing Education: Commitment to ongoing professional development and willingness to participate in additional training and workshops as needed.
