OverviewDirector of ProjectsJob Summary:Oversee site activities in the execution of equipment and subcontractors in the construction and implementation of multiple commercial solar and ancillary energy projects, in execution of Company project plan. Develop and implement program standards and oversee major O&M outages.Major ResponsibilitiesOversee and lead and manage project teamLead project management process to ensure various measurement and contract requirements are adhere toAct as department leader and contribute to the development of the departments overall long-range strategy and strategic goalsOversee construction with vendor, contractors, landlord and tenants to ensure timely completion within budgetOversee negotiation and documentation of vendor and contractor agreements for all clean energy platformsOversee a construction team of professionals in the construction of various clean energy platforms – solar, etc... Projects range from 2mw to 150mw and up to $150m dollars. This position may oversee 4-8 projects at one timeOversee logistics (if any) to ensure timely completion within budgetOversee the construction of approved electrical and construction engineering plansOversee the implementation of major O&M outages for various Company solar assetsOversee approved commissioning test plansOversee and coordinate the negations and documentations of the EPC agreements for all Company platformsOversee commissioning testing programOversee permitting processOversee all landowner issues at the various project sitesAssist with the preparation of various reports and presentations for senior managementAssist with the preparation of various reports and presentations for senior managementMaintain effective internal and external contacts. Work in the spirit of cooperation that fosters teamwork and a sense of responsibilityRequirementsBachelor’s degree in engineeringProfessional Engineering certification or Masters’ Degree in Business/Construction Management preferredAt least 10-15 years’ experience in the industry along with working and leading various engineering and construction teamsExperience in working on solar and energy project implementationsLicense as a Professional Engineer or Project Management Professional Certification is desiredMS Office proficiency and effective communication skills requiredBe willing to travel and spend necessary time at remote project locations #J-18808-Ljbffr
