The Digital Executive Producer is responsible for leading our team of digital producers, making sound editorial decisions for our digital product, and spearheading our digital strategy. The ideal candidate is an expert copy editor, strong writer, savvy news hound, experienced with social media and web management, and understands analytics. This person must know how to guide a small team and be a mentor to emerging journalists. They should also be extremely media literate and know how to distinguish credible vs. non-credible sources online. This person must be comfortable coaching others on best practices for social media use.
