Position Overview: As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the recruitment process, assisting with sourcing, scheduling and onboarding candidates. You will work closely with hiring managers and the HR team to ensure a seamless and efficient hiring experience. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be key in managing the recruitment workflow and enhancing our employer brand.
Salary: $70 - 75k + Bonus + Hybrid schedule
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing:
- Assist in developing and implementing sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify potential candidates for open positions.
Interview Coordination:
- Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Prepare interview materials and provide guidance to interviewers on best practices.
Candidate Engagement:
- Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and feedback to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Coordinate and conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications.
Onboarding Support:
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting reference checks, and facilitating orientation.
- Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and compliance requirements are met.
Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and organized recruitment records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Generate reports on recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and provide insights to the HR team.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and assist in creating job descriptions that accurately reflect role requirements.
- Provide guidance on market trends and best practices in recruitment.
Employer Branding:
- Support initiatives to enhance the firm’s employer brand, including participation in career fairs and networking events.
- Assist in the development of recruitment marketing materials and content for social media.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Identify areas for process improvement and contribute ideas to enhance the overall recruitment strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably in the finance industry.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software and Workday
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work in ultra-fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on candidate engagement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant tools.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong attention to detail.
