This is a 1.1 mgd advanced wastewater treatment facility and associated collection system/pumping stations that operate in accordance with State Regulatory Agencies, DEEP and local ordinances. The successful candidate should possess a valid CT Grade I Certification from the State of Connecticut and must possess excellent mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn quickly and demonstrate attention to detail. The candidate should be of good physical and health conditions (without physical limitations) deemed necessary and proper for the performance of the job with the desire/willingness to obtain training necessary to advance within the system. Candidates are required to be on-call on a rotational basis evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
