Class A CDL Driver Overview
As a Class A CDL Driver, you will operate a 53 ft. tractor-trailer on local routes, with the possibility of one overnight stay per week depending on route length. This is a full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule, offering overtime opportunities and mandatory quarterly Driver Safety meetings.

Qualifications for Class A CDL Drivers
- Valid Class A CDL Operator's License
- 1-3 years of driving experience (preferably 100,000 miles)
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests as mandated by the DOT
- Successful completion of driving history and background checks
- Possession of a Federal Medical Card
- Knowledge of common hazards and safety precautions for Class A Drivers
- Experience with multiple deliveries
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills

Key Responsibilities of Class A CDL Drivers
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete daily vehicle inspection reports (DVIRs)
- Assist customers in verifying quantities and products delivered against shipping tickets
- Collect payments for delivered goods as per shipping instructions
- Maintain driver logs in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Operate within safety guidelines as defined by government regulations and company policies
- Ensure cleanliness of equipment
- Maintain a clean driving record in accordance with DOT and company standards
- Adhere to company policies and uphold a positive attitude.
