Northeast OH Hub Director MHAC Cleveland 4500 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44103, USA Job Description Posted Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 5:00 AM Job Summary The Northeast Hub Director provides highly confidential policy, education, program and administrative support for the Mental Health & Addiction Advocacy Coalition (MHAC) and its Northeast Ohio (NEO) Hub. Additionally, the Director is responsible for member recruitment and retention in the NEO Hub region. This full‑time position will be located at the NEO Hub office. Job Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. Knowledge of government systems and budgets. Experience working with grassroots organizing campaigns, coalition organization, or advocacy/ public policy initiatives preferred. Experience in behavioral health or healthcare issues. Computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office products (specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required. Social media skills a plus. Frequent travel within NEO Hub (Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage and Summit Counties) and some travel within the rest of Ohio required. Evening and weekend hours may be required. Provides programmatic, educational, policy, and administrative support to the MHAC and the NEO Steering Committee. Develops and implements local advocacy agenda, including researching and developing written analyses of local behavioral health funding and public policy matters. Works with members, collaborators, community partners, and contractors on public policy issues and projects impacting behavioral health and furthering the MHAC’s mission. Responsible for member identification, recruitment, and retention in NEO Hub region. Assists with grant writing and reporting, as applicable to NEO Hub activities. Represents MHAC NEO Hub at community meetings. Assists in creation of educational/communications content. Responsible for distribution of materials in NEO Hub region. Facilitates, prepares, and staffs NEO Steering Committee meetings, NEO Policy & Advocacy Committee meetings, NEO SUD and Addiction Subcommittee, MHAC membership meetings, and NEO events. In collaboration with the Executive Director and other MHAC team members and contractors, educate local public officials, stakeholders, and members on the local and state advocacy agendas Other Job Duties & Responsibilities Develops materials and presentations.
