Introduction to the JobAs a System Integration and Test Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing and validating advanced semiconductor equipment. You’ll work alongside a team of engineers and scientists to solve complex technical challenges and ensure our products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. Your work directly supports ASML’s mission to push the boundaries of technology and enable the production of ever‑smaller, faster, and more powerful microchips. Responsibilities Integrate system modules and components into EUV platforms and support global deployments. Troubleshoot complex, multidisciplinary issues across mechanical, electrical, and optical domains. Support cross‑functional teams to ensure modules meet performance, serviceability, and cost targets. Develop and execute test plans to validate system performance and reliability. Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on safety, quality, and process controls. Lead issue resolution efforts for factory and field escalations. Collaborate with global teams to coordinate integration activities and share technical insights. Translate field data into design improvements and support continuous product enhancement. Education & Experience Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, physics, or a related field. At least 5 years of relevant experience (or 3 years with a master’s degree). Hands‑on experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, optical, and control systems. Familiarity with system integration practices and performance validation. Skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Experience with data analysis and performance reporting. Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues. Ability to develop clear documentation and technical procedures. Familiarity with optical systems and system controls. Experience using test and analytical equipment for optics and plasma research. Ability to present complex data in a clear and concise format. Other Information You must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship. Physical demands: the employee routinely sits, walks, talks, hears, uses hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoops, kneels, crouches, twists, crawls, reaches, and stretches. Occasionally required to move around campus, lift or move up to 20 pounds, and travel as required. Ability to read, interpret data, information, and documents; observe and respond to people and situations; learn and apply new information or skills. Travel may be required based on business needs. Compensation $100,875 – $168,125 per year (base salary). Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance; 401(k) plan with company match; eight (8) hours of vacation leave per month and thirteen (13) paid holidays annually.
