Sr. Manager, Tax at Prodege, LLC Overview The Sr. Manager, Tax will lead the preparation of annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740, oversee the full scope of federal, international, state, and local income tax compliance, and manage non-income tax areas such as sales & use and property tax. This newly created role is designed to bring critical tax expertise in-house to support the growing complexity and scale of our business operations. With a strong foundation in Big 4 experience, this leader will collaborate closely with external advisors and cross‑functional teams—including Accounting, FP&A, and Legal—to ensure compliance, reduce risk, and support business decision‑making. In addition to technical tax responsibilities, this role will focus on optimizing internal controls, scaling tax processes, and developing team capabilities to sustain long‑term operational excellence. Come join us today Primary Objectives Tax Provision (ASC 740) Tax Compliance Oversight Indirect / Non‑Income Tax Ownership Cross‑Functional Collaboration Process Improvement & Documentation Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job duty satisfactorily. Detailed Job Duties Tax Provision (ASC 740) Prepare and review the annual global consolidated income tax provision and related footnote disclosures in accordance with ASC 740. Manage and document uncertain tax positions, valuation allowances, and deferred tax assets/liabilities. Maintain and update tax provision models and support files. Keep up to date with ongoing trends and changes to legislation that will affect the tax provision. Coordinate with external subject‑matter professionals as needed to ensure complex issues are appropriately accounted for in the tax provision. Coordinate with auditors for provision reviews as part of the year‑end audit process. Tax Compliance Oversight Liaise with external tax advisors to manage the preparation and filing of federal, international, state, and local income tax returns, including extensions and estimated payments. Assist with the preparation of tax return workpapers and supporting documentation. Prepare estimated taxable income and cash tax payment models. Review tax return workpapers, supporting documentation, and final returns for accuracy and completeness. Ensure compliance with all reporting deadlines and tax law changes. Indirect / Non‑Income Tax Ownership Own and manage Sales & Use Tax, Property Tax, Business License & Franchise Taxes, and other non‑income tax compliance obligations. Evaluate nexus and registration requirements, coordinate filings, and support internal process improvements and audits. Partner with AP, Legal, and external providers to ensure proper tax treatment and documentation of transactions. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with the Accounting, FP&A, and Legal teams to support business initiatives and ensure tax implications are considered in decision‑making. Assist in special projects such as R&D tax credit studies, M&A tax due diligence, entity restructuring, and tax technology implementation. Process Improvement & Documentation Establish and maintain strong internal controls over tax processes. Develop and document tax accounting policies and procedures to support scalability and audit readiness. Successful performance in the Sr. Manager, Tax role means delivering accurate and timely income tax provisions under ASC 740, ensuring full compliance with federal, international, state, and local tax requirements, and effectively managing all non‑income tax obligations. The individual will proactively identify tax risks and opportunities, collaborate cross‑functionally to inform business decisions, and maintain strong relationships with external advisors and internal stakeholders. They will implement scalable, well‑documented processes and controls that support audit readiness and future growth. As a leader, they will foster a collaborative culture and consistently model high standards of performance, integrity, and accountability. Ultimately, success in this role ensures the company remains compliant, strategically agile, and operationally efficient as it continues to scale. The MUST Haves Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Five or more (5+) years of experience, with at least 1 year at the Manager level in a Big 4 or large public accounting firm. Deep technical expertise in ASC 740 and experience preparing or reviewing complex, multinational tax provisions. Familiarity with U.S. Federal and Global tax compliance and coordinating with external tax service providers. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Experienced and highly competent with the use of Excel for tax computational support workpapers. The Nice to Haves Master’s in Tax or CPA strongly preferred. Experience with tax technology tools (e.g., ONESOURCE, Corptax, Alteryx) is a plus. Pay Transparency The anticipated base salary range for this position is $170,000 to $190,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to; the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, the type and length of knowledge and skills for the position, education, training, etc. Prodege is a multi-state employer and final compensation within this range could be impacted by work location.
