We are looking for a DPM (Design Program Manager) to support the Design System Library, Infrastructure, and Support teams within the Foundation Design organization. This person will partner directly with a lead DPM (Design Program Manager), Product Design Manager, and a number of Product Designers to continue team operations and deliver high-priority projects for our Design System. Performance will be measured by partner and team sentiment and through the success of operational levers established, scaled, or updated for the team.


Job Responsibilities:
Maintaining and supporting design operations.
Coordinate projects, making plans to accomplish goals and deliverables.
Manage & support capacity.
Craft and share comms; considering the right message tailored to the right audience.
Define, maintain, and refine rhythms of business.
Contribute to sprint strategy, planning, and facilitation.


Skills:
Effective Communication: Facilitating effective communication (verbal & written) among team members and stakeholders to keep everyone informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle, adapting style or approach as needed.
Collaboration / Partnering: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.
Embracing Ambiguity: Quickly adjusts to new conditions and helps others do the same, working effectively through ambiguity and adversity.
Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.
Strong knowledge of the product design lifecycle.
Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.


Education/Experience:
Deep experience working with portfolio management tools such as Jira, Wrike, and Asana.
Program Management within a design context.

Additional Responsibilities:
Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.
Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
