This role bridges business strategy, data governance, and technology delivery, ensuring our advisor platform has accurate, governed, and high-quality participant and party data across systems.Able you to translate business needs into scalable, governed data solutions that power client and advisor experiences.ResponsibilitiesOwn the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Participant/Party SOR capabilities and integrations across the advisor platform.Collaborate with business, data, and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals, requirements, and governance principles.Serve as liaison to Commonwealth and future M&A integration teams for metadata documentation, data quality, and lineage validation.Write and manage epics, stories, and acceptance criteria in Jira, ensuring traceability between business and technical requirements.Define and maintain data governance standards, including quality rules, scorecards, and SOR documentation in Confluence.Oversee data profiling, lineage analysis, and validation to ensure integrity across source and target systems.Lead and mentor team members in agile practices, sprint planning, and continuous improvement.Monitor and communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies, driving resolution and stakeholder transparency.Advocate for customer‑centric, data‑driven decision‑making and continuous improvement of data quality and usability.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in related field (advanced degree preferred).7+ years in data‑centric product ownership, data management, or governance roles within financial services or fintech.5+ years experience with SQL, data modeling (star/snowflake), and data governance tools.5+ years experience translating complex data concepts into business value and vice versa.Preferred SkillsExperience with AWS, Snowflake, and data pipeline transformations.Background in wealth management or financial advisory services.Familiarity with API‑based & Kafka integrations, and CRM data flows.Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI or other visualization tools.Proven ability to mentor team members and drive a culture of collaboration and governance excellence.Core CompetenciesDeep understanding of CRM party data architecture, data integration, and systems of record (SOR).Hands‑on experience in agile delivery, Jira, and Confluence.Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Product OwnershipAnalytical Thinking & Problem SolvingTechnical Acumen (SQL, Data Models, APIs)Communication & LeadershipContinuous Improvement MindsetPay Range$106,088–$176,813 per year. Actual base salary varies based on factors, including skill, experience, education, base salary of internal peers, performance, and geographic location.
