Our client, a full-service litigation firm with a strong reputation, is expanding its Business/Commercial Litigation practice and looking for an associate attorney to join the team. About the Firm: Our client is a leading defense litigation law firm with more than 1300 attorneys in 43 offices throughout the United States. They rank among the top 100 law firms identified by The American Lawyer and the National Law Journal’s survey of the nation’s largest law firms. They are also Mansfield Certified Plus. Qualifications: JD from an accredited law school Admitted to practice in California 4+ years of experience in commercial litigation, including breach of contract, D&O, and trade secret litigation, commercial disputes, and Intellectual Property Experience with MSJs Experience with complex factual patterns and legal argument, such as nuance with contractual interpretations and breach of fiduciary duty claims Ability to handle discovery disputes with minimal supervision Ability to take depositions Corporate Governance experience is a plus Legal project management experience is helpful Responsibilities Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end Work closely and collaborate with other attorneys and partners Regularly handle court appearances and depositions Communicate with clients and provide status reports Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $140,000– $220,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
