As a member of the CCI team and BIM Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Responsibility in leading the Technician I and Technician II employees in all phases of development and transition. The BIM Manager will display strong leadership skills and a willingness to tackle the challenges that arise. Collaboratively work with production staff to solve for challenges or concerns with the various computer software programs utilized.
- Set training opportunities and agenda for Technician I and Technician II employees.
- Ensure that Technician I and Technician II employees are being trained properly.
- Review work of Technician I and Technician II employees to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Assist with production work as needed.
- Monitor workflow to make sure tasks are completed correctly and timely.
- Oversee/participate in software updates.
- Evaluate current and new software that can assist with improved production in the technician group and production staff as a whole.
- Oversee that equipment (plotter, computers, etc.) is working as required.
- Oversee the allocation of technician staff to specific tasks to ensure production staff is supported appropriately.
- Evaluate the technician staff and develop accordingly.
- Develop and maintain technician manual.
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
- A 2-year Associates degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with an architectural or engineering firm.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in management of personnel.
- Intimate knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software.
- Working knowledge of Bluebeam Revu software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be motivated by growth opportunities for themselves, others and CCI.
- Passion for providing the highest level of services to CCI's clients.
- Possess good organizational skills; be capable of understanding client needs; prioritizing and coordinating work; making informed decisions; and executing quality work.
