We’re looking for a Commercial Counsel who thrives in a high-growth, fast-moving environment and can partner seamlessly with both revenue-facing and internal business teams.About The RoleAs Commercial Counsel, you will support a broad range of commercial transactions across Doppel’s global business. You’ll handle both customer-facing deals and vendor/supplier agreements, enabling sales growth while ensuring Doppel’s internal operations and procurement contracts are sound. This is a hands-on role with high visibility across the company.What You’ll DoDraft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including: SaaS / license agreements, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Reseller & channel partner agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Vendor / supplier / procurement agreements (IT, services, cloud infrastructure, professional services, etc.), (Nice to have) Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and privacy/security addendaServe as a trusted advisor to Sales, Partner/Channel, Procurement, IT, Security, and Finance on contract terms, risks, and negotiation strategy.Provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice that accelerates deal cycles while protecting company interests.Improve templates, playbooks, and contracting processes to drive scalability and efficiency.Support contract lifecycle management practices, approvals, and ongoing obligations tracking.Collaborate with Security and Privacy teams on data protection and regulatory compliance as needed.What We’re Looking ForJ.D. (or equivalent) and active license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction.4–7+ years of commercial legal experience, with significant in-house or tech/SaaS focus.Strong track record negotiating SaaS license agreements, SLAs, reseller/partner agreements, NDAs, and vendor/procurement contracts.Excellent drafting skills, business judgment, and ability to translate complex legal issues into practical guidance.Self-starter comfortable working remotely, managing multiple priorities, and partnering cross-functionally.Nice to HaveExperience negotiating DPAs, privacy/security addenda, or working with regulated industries.Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools.Background in cybersecurity, SaaS, or other data-sensitive technology environments.Why Join DoppelCompetitive compensation range: $160,000 – $190,000 OTE, plus equity.Remote-first flexibility with home office support.Comprehensive benefits: health, dental, vision, 401(k), parental leave, PTO.Opportunity to shape legal operations in a scaling cybersecurity SaaS company where legal is seen as an enabler.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionLegalIndustriesConstruction, Software Development, and IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
