We need your experience to lead the development and implementation of security solutions that will safeguard a training environment.

On our team, you’ll troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges for customers using your knowledge of the NIST 800-53 controls. You’ll use your curiosity for technology and market trends to further research and develop security solutions. Using your knowledge and experience in vulnerability management, continuous monitoring, and endpoint security to assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls.

In this role, you’ll closely impact military personnel and how they train in simulated environments. With mentoring, challenging hands-on problem-solving, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

What You’ll Work On:

Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management

Implement infrastructure and cyber security controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises

Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas, leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise

You Have:

3+ years of experience in Information Assurance (IA) and Cybersecurity

Experience with using Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG)s, Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), or Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)

Experience with networking, Cisco or Juniper network devices, or network security implementation

Experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019, or Linux, including RHEL, Ubuntu, Solarwinds, and McAfee Host-Based Security System (HBSS)

Knowledge of the discipline and practice of systems engineering throughout the system life cycle phases of concept, development, production, use, and support

Knowledge of NIST 800-53 and CNSSI 1253 RMF Analysis and Accreditation

Ability to write final-version deliverable documents and reports

Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

3+ years of experience in system engineering architecture and design

Possession of excellent interpersonal, organizational, and team building skills

Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills

TS/SCI clearance

Master's degree

CISSP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
