Job Description: As a world leader in spa manufacturing, were seeking a reliable, dedicated and experienced person to oversee our satellite warehouse in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is self-motivated and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse while utilizing their extensive forklift experience to load, unload and store our spas, covers and parts.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage truck drivers and any vendors who may pick up/deliver at the warehouse.
  • Ensure the safe operation of forklifts and adhere to set safety policies.
  • Manage finished goods, ensuring accuracy in receiving, order picking and storage.
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance and repairs.
  • Train new employees on proper forklift operation and warehouse procedures.
  • When necessary, schedule shifts and manage staff workload to meet operational requirements.
  • When necessary, supervise and coordinate the activities of forklift operators and warehouse staff.
  • Collaborate with operations and sales to optimize warehouse safety, efficiency and productivity.
  • Receive inbound deliveries of spas, parts and covers.
  • Facilitate transfers of products between company warehouses when necessary.
  • Weekly cycle counts of spas, covers and parts to rectify any issues or discrepancies in shipments and inventory.
  • Compile and create a daily/weekly/monthly shipping report and submit it to superiors.
  • Any additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certification in logistics is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a warehouse lead or supervisor, with expertise in forklift operation.
  • Minimum five years of forklift experience
  • Forklift certification and experience operating stand up and sit-down forklifts.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of WMS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb a ladder and stand, sit, kneel for extended time.
