The Interaction Designers take complex tasks and make them intuitive and easy‑to‑use for billions of people. The UX team works alongside researchers, writers, content strategists & engineers. As an Interaction Designer you’ll rely on user‑centered methods to craft industry‑leading experiences—from concept to execution. In this role you will help design & define the future of developer experiences for a new interactive content type on the YouTube Playables team. Salary range: $129,000‑$185,000 (base) + bonus, equity & benefits. Responsibilities Work with cross‑functional partners to drive and own designs for new Playables focused features. Drive design specifications development & create production‑ready assets. Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process by making compelling designs & concepts & expressing them in stories, sketches, wireframes, flow diagrams, models, & 2D prototypes. Rationalize & justify design work, advocate for users’ needs. Work with the wider YouTube team to craft seamless & consistent experiences across the platform.
