Your Opportunity with ECG: Consultant or Senior Consultant As a consultant or senior consultant at ECG, you’ll be an important part of our consulting team, working alongside the top professionals in the industry to come up with solutions that shape healthcare. You will join ECG as a general member of our healthcare consulting pool, where you'll have the opportunity to gain diverse experiences by working across ECG’s four divisions: Health System Performance, Medical Group Optimization, Payer Strategy & Contracting, and Strategy & Enterprise Growth. We are currently hiring a consultant or senior consultant with previous work experience supporting physician cash compensation valuation engagements to join our Healthcare Consulting Pool. Experience includes: Designing overall compensation models and providing benchmarking analytics. Benchmarking compensation using national survey data. Evaluating fair market value and commercial reasonableness of arrangements to ensure compliance. Analyzing operational and financial performance. Transforming physician enterprises. Designing physician compensation plans. Supporting physician leadership compensation. Your Responsibilities May Include Analyzing and synthesizing data to inform client recommendations. Using financial modeling to conduct in-depth analyses and recommend executable strategies. Conducting stakeholder interviews. Leading information-gathering efforts. Assisting in developing and managing work plans, schedules, and budgets. Drafting project analyses and deliverables. Communicating project progress and seeking input. Developing depth of technical expertise. Identifying follow‑on opportunities and helping scope and close such engagements. Assisting in the design and implementation of recommended solutions. Working closely with multiple project teams and ECG senior consulting leaders. Taking responsibility for project outcomes. Communicating effectively with management and executive‑level client staff. Learning about ECG’s breadth of solutions and identifying those that reflect personal and professional interests. Participating in peer and junior staff knowledge development and career advancement. Demonstrating the ability to excel at consulting while balancing work and personal life. Acting as an ECG ambassador within personal, professional, and alumni networks. Our Expectations of You Strong knowledge of and passion for the healthcare industry Master’s degree in business administration and/or in a health‑related field preferred Prior work experience in healthcare consulting (2+ years of applicable experience for consultant level; 3+ years of progressive experience for senior consultant level) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Proven track record of solving complex problems and completing challenging projects Demonstrated diagnostic, analytical, and quantitative skills Track record of strong client service Demonstrated career progression with increasing responsibilities Strong written and verbal presentation skills Ability to travel at least 60% of the time, with flexibility to meet client needs Job Locations Atlanta Boston Chicago Dallas Minneapolis San Diego Washington D.C. The estimated base salary range for this job is $110,000 – $150,000 annually. It represents a good faith estimate of the range that ECG reasonably expects to pay at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to years of experience, special skills, and market changes. This job is eligible to participate in ECG’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects ECG’s pay‑for‑performance philosophy. The job is also eligible to participate in ECG’s benefit plans, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage; a 401(k) matching program; unlimited PTO; and other wellness programs.
