Maintenance Technician We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for the preventative and reactive maintenance of production machinery and equipment on the machining side of our facility. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on CNCs, furnaces, boilers, casting machinery, and industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will be adept in both mechanical and electrical maintenance, including working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and up to 480 volt, three-phase motors. Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines, furnaces, boilers, and other industrial equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment. Handle mechanical repairs, focusing on hydraulics and pneumatics. Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs, including wiring and maintaining three-phase motors. Troubleshoot PLCs and work with engineers on program editing. Carry out welding tasks and align new equipment. Essential Skills: 2-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, including troubleshooting and repairing production machinery. 2-3 years of mechanical maintenance experience, specifically with hydraulics and pneumatics. 2-3 years of electrical maintenance experience, working with up to 480 volt, three-phase motors and wiring. 2-3 years of experience in preventative maintenance. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience with CNC machine maintenance. Familiarity with PLCs and robotics. Journeyman card or relevant technical certifications. Ability to wire control panels. Work Environment: Our facility supports both machining and casting operations in a non-union, multi-craft environment. While the work setting can be dirty and dusty due to our foundry operations, we provide necessary uniforms and prioritize safety. The shift is from 3:30 pm to 11 pm, with a shift premium and minimal overtime. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coldwater, MI. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
