- Providing information and assistance in all aspects of the financial aid process.
- Performing technical duties to support the Student Financial Resources and Scholarship Department.
- Advising and coaching students from diverse backgrounds through the financial aid application and awarding process.
- Facilitating pre-awarding eligibility determination and resolving ineligibility issues.
- Making corrections and assisting in the verification of students' FAFSAs.
- Monitoring and evaluating financial aid awards for disbursement.
- Investigating and troubleshooting inquiries/complaints to determine resolution.
- Assisting Financial Aid Managers with communication management and administration of aid programs.
- Utilizing technology effectively for various tasks and database management.
- Assisting veteran students with VA benefits, applications, and maintaining records.
- Hold an earned Associate Degree or higher in Accounting, Business Administration, Business Information Systems, or Computer Information Systems, or any Associate Degree with 16 college credit hours in relevant fields.
- Have two years of customer service experience.
- Possess knowledge of federal, state, and institutional financial aid regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Have experience with the financial aid application process for federal, state, and institutional programs.
- Are adept at using technology including Outlook, ACD phones, Colleague, and various federal and state software.
- Can work effectively in a multi-cultural diverse working environment.
