What’s a typical day as a Medical Customer Support Representative? You’ll be:
• Acting as a trusted advisor and educator on healthcare-related inquiries.
• Guiding patients to a better healthcare experience.
• Resolving member and provider concerns.
• Assisting providers and patients in finding a doctor through various communication channels.
• Partnering with internal departments to ensure a seamless experience for resolving potential issues.
• Documenting and tracking contact with members, providers, and plan sponsors.
• Handling incoming requests for appeals and pre-authorizations.
• Triaging resulting rework to appropriate staff.
• Educating providers on self-service options.
• Performing other duties and projects as needed.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Have problem-solving skills.
